I watched about five hours of old home movie footage on old VHS tapes today getting ready to transfer them to DVD’s. It was the coolest thing to do and I found myself formulating some thoughts as I screened the clips.
~I can see my grandchildren looking so much like their parents.
~My glasses were definitely too big, although it was the style back then.
~My hair was definitely too big, although it was the style back then.
~Our kids were well-dressed and clean.
~I was always pregnant, or so it seemed.
~When I narrated a video, I talked too much.
~We took the kids a lot of places.
~I am pretty amazed I raised seven great kids.
~I really tried to be a good Mom – I think I did a good job.
